Hyaluronic Acid also known as Hyaluronan is a nonsulfated glycosaminoglycan. It is most often found in the connective epithelial, and neural tissue. It is also a component of group A Streptococcal and is thought to play a role in virulence. Hyaluronan is the major component of the synovial fluid, and is found to increase it. Hyaluronan is also a major part of the cartilage itself. Hyaluronan actually coats all around each cell. This causes the monomers to bind to the hyaluronan. This causes the actual rebuilding of cartilage! Hyaluronan or (Hyaluronic acid) is plentiful when we are young throughout the body. Like so many other factors, as we age it decreases in amount. Therefore, the need to supplement becomes necessary!

 

I recommend only the hyaluronic acid that is a type II collagen extracted from rooster cones. It is also plentiful in egg shells. After using this most people with arthritis so severe that they could not function without constant pain, found relief in as little as two weeks.

It has many other uses such as post operative externally applied to speed up healing and lessen scarring. It is also found in many face creams to treat wrinkles. It is definitely worth looking into for a wide variety of uses.
