Herbal Remedies: Do They Work?

Throughout history, humans have used the plants and minerals around us to heal the sick or dying. But, how well do natural remedies really work? The answer according to researchers is, very well. Scientist have studied these herbal remedies for decades, to discover the healing properties of herbs and other naturally existing medicines. Research into these herbal remedies, along with chemical enhancement, has provided us with many of the medicines and vaccines we use today. However, many feel these man made medicines bring side effects their natural versions do not. Herbal means "all natural," while many medicinal chemicals are man made.

Mankind has forgotten what it’s like to use the healing properties of the earth. When we get thirsty, we drink water. Water is of the earth. It revitalizes us and gives us renewed energy. Herbal and natural medicines do the same. Modern medicine has done a lot of good for society, but has also had many harmful side effects. Herbal products today are finding renewed popularity as people seek out cheaper and more natural cures to their ailments.

The fact of the matter is, now we need to remember what we've forgotten. Natural remedies were used throughout time to heal the body. Why can't it be that way again? Why not have more energy, more desire to exercise, more fun,or even live a little while longer? The truth is, the chemical additives in many modern medicines are destroying our bodies, while herbal remedies can cure without harm.
